Was wondering if the two websites are linked or are they both a couple of great sites offering the same thing?? Notice some people log their times on both sites so assuming they are not linked? C2M offers a bit more so I have switched to using this more often lately. Any other peoples thoughts???

through time, each website will differentiate itself from the other. Because I am currently not cycling my thoughts are based on the forum issues only, not the mechanics of the site but it seems that the other site has an interesting debate over what Tony Cheyne currently looks like and this one has just mentioned Jeffrey Dahmer (thanks to yours truly)...

Horses for Courses?

cheers,

We are richer now we have two sites dedicated to the bike and hillclimbs. Slightly different orientation between the two sites. Communication between riders is easier on hillclimbr. It seems this cycle2max site still needs polishing in its profile format to make individual profiles more visible to other users on the site. The forum format is easier to follow on cycle2max. I really value the exercise diary aspect of hillclimbr and it allows me to record all sorts of different excercises, ie : record my progress on the concept 2 rower and Rpm sessions which I do during the week, etc, etc. I have learned lots throughout the course of using both websites.

A little bit of History, Brett and Andy were running C2M and decided to go separate ways. Andy took the c2m data and started hill climber using the existing site he had built. Brett created a new site under the C2M banner. Both sites have their plus's and minus's. Andy’s site seems to be full of almost finished ideas but has great diet/health and exercise diary software, blogging and communication tools. Brett’s site has less functionality but the functionality seems to be more complete that is there. I think it is sad to see them split and think it somewhat has created a divide but I hope both sites are a success.

I think cycle2max should investigate Ajax as it would make some of the forms work better. Ajax is available to ASP.NET and can be used to load data into a web page without reloading the entire page. It is also a cleaning product but I am not talking about that product. Maybe DBG Technologies could give me a job since I am looking for one. LOL.

Also one problem I just had then was I clicked enter in the text box and it submitted the form although I was not finished typing my message.
