Just heard about this ride myself so thought I would post it here so others hear about it as well.
The ride is on the 22nd January 2009 (stage 3 of the TDU) and follows the same route as the professional riders (Unley to Victor Harbour). It has been organised in support of Mick 'Crazy' Koerner who was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. There are two distances on offer - the full 136km and a 60km option from Ashbourne.
Entry is $75 and if you enter before 5pm on 21 Nov 2008 there is a Ride Like Crazy Jersey included.
It's a great cause so lets all get onboard.

Mick “Crazy” Koerner is a valued member of STAR Group. He was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
In support of Crazy and his family, a bicycle ride titled Ride Like Crazy has been organised. The organisers of the ride (Crazy’s workmates) extend an invitation to fellow SAPOL members, their families, friends, associates, and anyone else in the community who is interested in participating in the event. Essentially, the more people that ride, the more money that will be raised for the Mick Koerner Foundation, not to mention raising awareness about cancer, a disease that has affected most of us at some time.
