Do some track riders still use toe clips added to their "clipless pedals"?
What is the "norm" for track racing, especially Time Trials and Pursuit racing? I was at the Oceania Champs and I noticed a few riders with toe clips.
I'd think it would give riders a bit more confidence to really pull on the pedals, especially when starting.

Jeff, you got it in one. Some people like (need) the additional security when starting, it also makes things a bit firmer shoe-wise if you're big enough to start ripping the top of your shoe off the sole!
