Went up Norton Summit early (7ish) this morning (17/01) and had my photo take by some guy with a yellow vest and a Skoda hat.. Enjoying the ride too much to stop and ask where he was from, in hindsight I wish I had... I'm sure every man and his dog rode up Norton Summit this morning, anyone know who he was or where/if we can see the pics?

Yeah I saw him too.. I was going up but he was shooting people coming down the hill (this was around 9ish). My guess he was shooting riders in that Cure Diabetes ride.. or just local media..? like yourself, I was enjoying my ride too much to stop and ask.. I saw a female rider taking pics of herself on her mobile phone when she got to the top of the one of the climbs...thought that was a bit odd lol

Yeah I was enjoying it too much as well, had my head down, someone said "Good Morning" and snap! Not sure if I smiled so if anyone knows where he's from let us all know!

dito. He was there from before 7. I couldnt see any particular logos defining a media outlet. However when noting there were about 200 riders on the Summit that morning figured it would be hard to find my photo anyway. Even pulled a face to look like I was trying hard!

Big Mistake Brad, when the Camera is on, you gotta look (Arm)strong. No-one will believe you if you look like you have blown a gasket on Norton Summit...

The photographer on Norton Summit was myself (Pierre Ebbinghaus). A friend made me aware of this site so I thought I'd leave my details for anyone that wanted pics. I took pics from 6:30am till about 10:20am on the 17th Jan09 and yes I was wearing a yellow vest. I'm an amature photographer that rides as well. I have been making the photos available to the riders. For further details I can be contacted by email on pierre@ebbinghausgroup.com please give a time you were on the hill and what you were wearing.
Regards!
