If you think you might know of someone with real potential in the sport of cycling out there (maybe they don't even currently ride a bike) then it may be worth suggesting to them to try out one of the climbs on the 'Talent ID' page of this site. Recently updated it now includes all the climbs in Australia which have been endorsed by the Australian Sports Commission as official hill climbs for talent identification of the next generation of cyclists.
All they have to do is post their times on any one of the identified climbs in this site along with a few extra details and the data will automatically feed through to the NTID coordinators to be assessed as a potential candidate for the Australian Institute of Sport or future National Teams.
