Could someone please suggest the safest & quickest route to ride back to Adelaide from Victor Harbour? Thanks.

Me, I would travel the Victor to Adelaide Road to the MacLaren Vale turn off and then ride the bike way to Darlington from there. That way you get to ride down Willunga Hill and the ride from MacLaren Vale along the old railway line is pretty easy. Just off the veloway, you can also catch the train from Noarlunga Center. (Personally, I've sucked my wife and kids into picking me up, after a bottle of red, from a mates place at McCracken.) Good Luck tomorrow.

The safest way is probably back up hindmarsh valley rather than going along the main road, which gets a bit narrow and rough in places. That main road is normally pretty busy. I am going up Hindmarsh valley road, up over Sellicks hill to main south road and then turning onto old coach road at Aldinga and then picking up the veloway near noarlunga. Forecast is for southerly/sw seabreeze in the afternoon, so it'll be a tailwind home.
