20/01/2009 January Updates
Hi Cycle2maxers! We've been working hard over the last month or two and have recently made some updates to the website that a few of you have already noticed!
1: Circuits & Front Page "Tabs" Added - We have added circuits to the front page and a "tab" system that allows you to switch between Hill Climbs and Circuits by clicking on either "Latest Hill Climb Times" or "Latest Circuit Times".
2: Expanded Member Profiles - You can now add extra information to your member profile such as what bike you ride, physiological details and even some of your favourites! We also implemented an "expand and collapse" system so that you can expand the section you wish to update with out having to scroll through all other sections!
3: Updated Top 10 Times - Due to popular demand from YOU our Cycle2max members, the top 10 times for a particular hill climb now show only the Personal Best time for each rider, making it that tiny little bit easier to crack the top ten! You can still see all the times however by clicking "View all attempts" for the ride you are interested in and then click "View all times entered" on the subsequent page.
4: Compare My Time Function - You are now able to compare your best time with any other rider! By clicking a riders time, you will see a "Compare My Time" link next to all the details of the climb. Clicking this link will load up your details along side the riders details for that time (if you don't see the Compare My Time link - then you haven't entered a time for that ride). Here you can compare your ranking for that climb, your weight, bike, average speed, extimated power, power to weight and the rest!
5: What If Calculater Expanded - The "What If" calculator has been expanded to include average speed, vertical speed (VS), estimated power and power to weight ratio!
6: ASC NTID Talent Program Finalised (see below news article for details).
AND - coming Soon:
1: Bunch Rides: We are currently working on Bunch/Group ride functionality where members will be able to create a group that friends, family and other riders can join. Each group can include the climbs / circuits that the group frequently rides, any upcoming group events and much much more... stay tuned.
2: Frequently Asked Questions - All the answers to life's little questions (well the website ones anyway!) will be online soon to help you with any troubles you might be having while using the website.
More updates to come soon!
19/01/2009 Talent ID and Development Cycling Program
